Description

The Noctis is a 60mm diameter cylindrical pendant light with a polished chrome metal diffuser and matching chrome ceiling rose. The narrow 400mm-tall cylinder houses a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) that directs light downward through the open base, creating a focused cone of illumination suitable for task lighting or accent lighting over specific surfaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, breakfast bars and hallway runs where multiple pendants can be grouped for visual impact, the Noctis works in ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. The 2000mm fabric cable is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table depending on room height. The IP20 rating confines use to indoor dry locations.

The polished chrome finish provides a mirror-like reflective surface that amplifies light output and pairs cleanly with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors. The compact 60mm diameter footprint allows multiple Noctis pendants to be spaced 300-400mm apart on a run without visual crowding, making it practical for island or bar counter installation where three or more pendants create balanced coverage. The GU10 fitting accepts LED, halogen or compatible bulbs up to the fitting's maximum wattage, giving flexibility over light temperature and intensity.

No. The IP20 rating means the Noctis is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens directly above sinks, or outdoor covered areas.

How many pendants are needed for a kitchen island?

For a typical 1.5-2m island, three Noctis pendants spaced 300-400mm apart provide balanced coverage. Larger islands may benefit from four or five pendants depending on the island length and required light intensity.
