Description

The Noctis is a 60mm diameter pendant light formed from a single cylindrical metal tube in an antique brass finish, suspended on a 2m adjustable fabric cable. The tube houses a downward-facing GU10 socket that directs light in a concentrated beam, making the fitting suitable for accent and task lighting rather than ambient room illumination.

Designed for use in multiples over kitchen islands, dining tables or bar counters, the Noctis works as part of a cluster or linear arrangement to build layered lighting zones. The 2m cable can be shortened during installation to set the pendant at the desired drop, typically 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining surface. The compact 60mm diameter keeps the visual weight minimal when three or more pendants are grouped together.

The antique brass finish is brushed rather than highly polished, giving a muted warm metallic tone that sits between aged brass and satin brass. The cylindrical form is 400mm tall, creating a column of downlight when paired with a narrow-beam GU10 LED. The IP20 rating limits the Noctis to dry indoor locations — kitchens, living rooms, hallways and dining areas where no direct water contact occurs.

The GU10 fitting accepts any standard UK GU10 bulb up to the manufacturer's maximum wattage (sold separately), and dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb and dimmer pairing chosen. The fabric cable conceals the electrical flex and adds a textile detail to the otherwise metal construction.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, but dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb chosen. Pair with a dimmable GU10 LED and a compatible LED dimmer switch for smooth dimming performance.

How many should I use over a kitchen island?

For a standard 2-2.5m kitchen island, three Noctis pendants spaced evenly along the length provide balanced task lighting. Larger islands may need four or five pendants depending on the worktop length and desired light level.

Can the cable be shortened?

Yes. The 2m cable is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the drop that suits your ceiling height and the surface below. Excess cable is concealed inside the ceiling rose.
