Description

The Nit/60/R is an outdoor table lamp built around a round 60cm table top, with a 17cm light ring set into its centre and a flared body of woven cord beneath. It comes in the Stone Top & Brown Synthetic Fibre finish: a smooth top over warm brown cord in an open weave. The lamp stands 42cm tall; the base itself is 40.5cm high and 52cm across. Its light is an integrated LED of 3W giving 133 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so food, faces and fabrics keep their true colours. Being integrated, it needs no bulb.

Rated IP44, it suits outdoor use: on a terrace, a patio or a balcony, or out in the garden beside a lounger or between two chairs, where the top holds a drink or a book while the ring lights it softly. Because it runs from a rechargeable battery, there is no wiring to plan, so you can move it to wherever you are sitting that evening. Indoors it works just as well, beside a sofa in the living room or next to the bed or a reading chair in the bedroom, where 133 lumens of warm light is enough to see by without flooding the room.

The Nit/60/R is made from aluminium, HPL and synthetic fibre nautical cord, and the design is by Gonzalo Milà. It is powered by a rechargeable battery charged by USB-C, and it runs at 5V DC as a Class III fitting, so there is nothing to wire in and no bulb to replace. The woven cord wraps a flared frame that narrows towards the top, leaving the table top to overhang it on every side. Give it a full charge by USB-C before you take it outside for the evening, and it is ready to light the table wherever you set it down.
