The Nirvora Table Lamp is a slim white cylinder, 20cm high and 10cm in diameter, with a shade of glass and plastic carrying a soft scroll pattern in white on white. When the lamp is lit, the scrolls show as gentle tracery through the glow; when it is not, the lamp reads as a quiet, plain column. It takes a single E14 bulb up to a maximum of 60W, and the bulb is not included, so the colour and brightness of the light are yours to choose. Rated IP20, it belongs indoors, in rooms that stay dry.

Being compact, it suits a side table beside a sofa or armchair, a bedside cabinet, a hallway console or a desk where a larger lamp would crowd the surface. The white shade sits comfortably in pale, neutral rooms and adds a little brightness to darker ones, while the scroll pattern brings a touch of classic decoration without any fuss. We think it works especially well as an evening light for a reading corner, or as a low, soft glow in a bedroom when you want something gentler than the ceiling light.
