Description

This is a small stoneware cup, 7.5cm across and 5.5cm tall, made to hold 110ml. That capacity makes it an espresso or small coffee cup: right for a double shot, a cortado or a short, strong tea, rather than a long morning brew. It is multicoloured, painted by hand with broad vertical stripes that run from the rim down to the base and carry on round the chunky looped handle. The body flares gently towards a softly uneven rim, which gives it a relaxed, informal look on the table.
