Description

The Ninarne is a single pendant light built around an open rectangular frame of black steel, with a brown wooden plate across the top that holds the lampholder. It measures 18cm long and 18cm wide, and its overall height is 110cm, from the round black ceiling canopy to the base of the frame. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W. The bulb is not included, so you choose the colour and warmth of the light yourself. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry rooms indoors and never for a bathroom or outdoors.

Because the frame is open on every side, the bulb stays in full view, which makes this pendant a natural partner for a decorative filament bulb. The black and brown pairing sits comfortably in a living room, a kitchen, a hallway or over a dining table, and it suits pared-back industrial rooms and warmer Scandinavian ones alike. We like several hung in a line over a kitchen island for a clear run of light without crowding the space, while one alone over a coffee table or a reading corner gives the room a focal point.

The frame is steel with a black finish, and the wooden top plate adds a warm, natural tone against it. There is no switch on the fitting itself, so it is controlled from your wall switch, and it runs from a 220-240V, 50/60Hz supply.
