Description

The Neviano is a long, slim LED outdoor wall light: a black bar 97cm long and 6.5cm from edge to edge, projecting only 5cm from the wall, with a white diffuser running along each long edge. The body is black steel and plastic, the diffuser is white plastic, and neat black end caps square off both ends. Its integrated LED gives 4,200 lumens at 3000K, a warm white that looks at home against timber, brick and render. It is rated IP55, which means it is protected from dust and from jets of water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall or a garden wall.

Because the light leaves through the two diffuser edges rather than the black face, the glow washes the wall on either side and the bar itself reads as a crisp dark line. Mount it upright to mark a front door, light a run of outside steps or pick out timber cladding; mount it level for a long, even line along a porch, a patio wall or the side of a garage. A 4,200 lumen output is generous for a wall light, so a doorstep or a flight of steps is properly lit rather than just marked, which suits anyone coming home after dark or welcoming guests on a winter evening.

The LED and driver are built in and are not replaceable, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. The light has no switch of its own: it runs from your wall switch on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains supply. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. It weighs 1.54KG and carries energy class E.
