Description

The Natura is a 2-light wall or semi-flush ceiling fitting with an opal white polyethylene shade shaped into a curved leaf form, mounted on a polished chrome base. The fitting takes two E27 bulbs (sold separately), with the opal shade diffusing the light to reduce glare and create soft ambient coverage across a room.

Designed for dual mounting, the Natura can be fitted to a wall as a sconce or to a ceiling as a semi-flush fitting, making it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and landings where overhead or wall-mounted ambient light is needed. The 487mm width covers enough surface area to work as a primary light source in rooms up to 12-15m², or as supplementary lighting in larger open-plan spaces. The 232mm projection from the wall or ceiling keeps the fitting relatively low-profile without fully recessing into the surface.

The opal polyethylene shade is moulded into a single organic curve that recalls a leaf or petal form, while the polished chrome base and visible fixings give the fitting a contemporary rather than naturalistic character. The chrome finish pairs well with cooler-toned interiors, stainless steel fixtures and grey or white walls. At 3.2kg, the fitting requires a secure mounting surface and appropriate wall plugs or ceiling joists for safe installation.

Yes. The Natura is designed for dual mounting and can be installed on either a wall as a sconce or on a ceiling as a semi-flush fitting. The same base plate and fixings are used for both installations.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient room lighting. The maximum wattage per bulb depends on the specific bulb type selected.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself is passive. Dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs you choose.

How is the opal shade cleaned?

The polyethylene shade can be wiped with a soft, damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may scratch or dull the surface. The chrome base can be polished with a standard metal cleaner designed for chrome fixtures.
