The Nans S/31.2 is a woven LED outdoor pendant light: a tall, softly rounded lantern shade of synthetic fibre, woven in an open lattice and hung from a Graphite Brown structure. The shade is Beige (with Light Blue and Light Grey), 45.7cm tall and 31.5cm across. The drop runs from 62cm to 200cm, so it can hang low over a table or higher in a room with a lofty ceiling. Inside sits an integrated LED that gives 391 lumens of warm 2700K light from 9.5W, with a CRI of 90, so food, faces and fabrics keep their true colours. There is no bulb to buy or change.

Rated IP54, it is made for outdoor use. It suits a covered terrace, a pergola, a porch or a garden dining area as readily as a dining room or living room indoors. Over an outdoor dining table it gives a warm, glowing centre to long summer evenings, and the open weave lets the warm light glow through the lattice. Hung in a row along a longer table, several work well together, each one sold on its own. It is TRIAC dimmable, so with a compatible dimmer you can turn it down once the meal is over.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre, with a Graphite Brown structure carrying the woven shade. These materials suit a light meant for outdoor use. The Beige (with Light Blue and Light Grey) weave keeps the glow soft and warm, while the darker structure gives the lantern a crisp outline.
