Description

The Nans Portable M/49 is an outdoor table lamp with a woven shade in Red (with Orange and Beige) beneath a Graphite Brown top and a wooden carry handle. The shade tapers gently towards the top, and its open lattice weave lets the light spill through in a warm, patterned glow. Inside is an integrated LED of 6.3W giving 393 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90 so colours look natural around it. As the LED is built in, there is no bulb to buy or change. It stands 48.4cm tall, with a shade 38.7cm tall and 25.8cm across.

We think it is at its best outdoors. It is rated IP54 and made for outdoor use, so it can sit on a garden table, beside seating on a patio or at the edge of a terrace, where its warm white light is gentle enough for long evenings without dazzling anyone. The same lamp is just as at home indoors: on a sideboard or side table in the living room, or on a bedside table or chest of drawers in the bedroom, where the pattern of the weave throws soft shadows across the wall.
