Description

The Nans Portable M/49/R is a rechargeable outdoor table lamp with a tapered shade of woven synthetic fibre in Red (with Orange and Beige), topped by a Graphite Brown cap and a teak wood carry handle. The open, diamond-like weave lets the light through in a warm pattern. The light comes from a 3W integrated LED giving 163lm at 2700K, so there is no bulb to buy or change. With a CRI of 90, colours and faces look natural under it. It stands 48.4cm tall and 25.8cm across, and it is easy to carry by the handle.

Because it runs on a rechargeable battery charged by USB-C, you can carry it wherever you want a soft glow. It is rated IP54, so it suits outdoor use: on a garden table, along a terrace, beside a seat on the patio or out on a balcony for an evening outside. Bring it back indoors and it sits just as happily on a living room sideboard or a bedroom chest of drawers. It gives low, warm light to sit and talk by rather than a light to read by. The Red (with Orange and Beige) shade brings a good dose of colour to a neutral space.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium, teak wood and synthetic fibre. The fibre is woven into the open lattice of the shade and the teak forms the carry handle.
