Description

The Nans Portable M/41 is an outdoor table lamp with a tapered woven shade in Red (with Orange and Beige), topped by a Graphite Brown cap and a wooden carry handle. It stands 40.5cm tall, and the shade alone is 31.8cm tall and 20.8cm across. Inside is an integrated LED of 6.3W giving 393lm of warm 2700K light, so there is no bulb to buy. A CRI of 90 keeps colours true beneath it, and the open weave lets the light through in a pattern of small, glowing openings.

Rated IP54, it is made for outdoor use, so it suits a garden table, a patio or a terrace on long summer evenings, and the handle makes it easy to lift and move to wherever you are sitting. It is just as happy indoors, on a side table in a living room or beside the bed in a bedroom, where the warm light and the red weave bring colour to a quiet corner. It runs on mains power at 230V, and its 390cm cable gives you generous reach when you are choosing where it sits.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium, teak wood and synthetic fibre, and we like how they sit together: the Graphite Brown structure frames the colour of the shade, while the wooden handle adds a warm, natural touch.
