Description

The Nans Catenary S/16/4L is an outdoor pendant light that strings four woven shades along one long cable, 500cm in all, for a soft line of light over a garden table or a terrace. Each shade is 16.5cm tall and 16.7cm across, woven from synthetic fibre into an open lattice in Brown (with Beige and Light Grey). It hangs from a Graphite Brown structure of stainless steel and aluminium. The four lights run on an integrated LED of 32W, giving 1140 lumens of warm 2700K light with a CRI of 90, so faces, food and planting keep their true colours after dark.

Rated IP54, it is made for outdoor use, so it suits a garden, a patio, a terrace or a pergola over an outdoor dining table. It works just as well inside, across a dining room or a living room. The shades hang 100cm apart at drops of 70cm and 83cm, so they settle at two heights along the line rather than in one flat row. The end spans are 50cm and 100cm, and there is a 400cm tensor at each end, which gives you generous reach between the two points you hang it from. It plugs in, so you can set it up wherever there is power to hand.

The synthetic fibre shades in Brown (with Beige and Light Grey) bring the warmth of a woven lantern without natural fibre. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and the fitting runs at 230V. Once it is hung, it is ready to light the table. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket. Outdoors, the plug and the adaptor must sit in a covered, weatherproof outdoor socket.
