Description

The Nans Catenary S/16/4L is an outdoor pendant light that carries four small woven shades along one long cable, so a single fitting lights the whole length of a table or a seating area. Each shade is 16.5cm tall and 16.7cm across, in Beige (with Light Blue and Light Grey), and hangs from a Graphite Brown structure. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. It is a 32W LED giving 1140lm of warm 2700K light, and with a CRI of 90 it shows food, faces and planting in their true colours. The open weave of each shade softens that light into a gentle glow.

Rated IP54, it is made for outdoor use, so you can string it above a garden dining table, along a terrace or under a pergola. Indoors it suits a dining room or a living room, where a long table or a wide space wants more than one point of light. It is 500cm long, with the shades spaced 100cm apart on drops of 70cm and 83cm, end spans of 50cm and 100cm, and a 400cm tensor at each end. It plugs in and runs at 230V, which makes it a simple way to bring warm light to an evening meal outside.

The fitting is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre, with the Graphite Brown structure drawing a dark, quiet line between the shades in Beige (with Light Blue and Light Grey). It is a Class I fitting.
