Description

The Nans Balis S/140 is a long linear LED pendant light for outdoor and indoor spaces alike. A slim brown structure carries a woven shade in Brown (with Beige and Light Grey), and the light glows softly through its open weave. It is 140cm long and 27cm wide, with a shade 13cm tall, and it hangs on a drop of up to 200cm. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 44W and gives 1761 lumens at a warm 2400K, and its CRI of 90 keeps food, faces and fabrics looking natural.

Rated IP54 for outdoor use, it suits a pergola, a covered terrace or an outdoor dining area, where its length runs neatly along a long table. It is just as much at home indoors, hung over a dining table or across a living room, where one fitting lights the whole run of a table or a seating area. It is TRIAC dimmable, so with a compatible dimmer you can take it from full brightness at dinner down to a low glow for long evenings outside.

It is made from aluminium, synthetic fibre and stainless steel, and its warm brown tones sit comfortably beside timber, stone and planting. The pendant runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. It also needs a Nans 24V power supply, sold separately, which supplies the integrated LED with power. The pendant does not light without it, so order the two together. Before you buy, measure from your ceiling or pergola beam to the height you want the light to sit at over the table, and check it falls within the 200cm maximum drop.
