Description

The Nans Balis S/140 is a long linear pendant light with a woven shade, 140cm long, 27cm wide and 13cm tall. The shade is Beige, woven with Light Blue and Light Grey, and sits beneath a slim structure in Brown, hung on two fine wires. Inside is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 44W and gives 1761 lumens of very warm 2400K light with a CRI of 90, so food, wood and skin tones look natural under it. The light glows through the open weave along the whole length of the shade.

At 140cm long, it is made for a long dining table, where one fitting lights the whole surface rather than a single spot, and it sits just as well over a sofa or a long coffee table in a living room. It is rated IP54 and suits outdoor use, so it can hang over a garden dining table, beneath a pergola or along a covered terrace. With a drop of up to 200cm, you can set the height to suit the ceiling or beam above. It is TRIAC dimmable and works with a compatible dimmer, so you can bring it up bright for a meal and turn it right down for a quiet evening outside.

It is made from aluminium, synthetic fibre and stainless steel, and its two suspension wires keep the long shade level along its full length. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. It also needs a Nans 24V power supply, sold separately, which powers the integrated LED. The pendant will not light without it, so we suggest ordering one at the same time as the light.
