The Nans A/01 is an outdoor wall light with a woven shade, a single drum of synthetic fibre in Red (with Orange and Beige) held on a curved arm in Graphite Brown. Light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: 8W giving 285lm at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 90 that keeps colours and faces looking true. The open weave lets the light through as a soft, patterned glow. It stands 26cm tall and reaches 26.5cm out from the wall on a 12cm wall rose, with a shade 16.5cm tall and 16.7cm across.

Rated IP54, it is made for outdoor use, so it suits a porch, a patio, a garden wall or the side of a back door, anywhere you want a warm light to see by after dark. Because it projects only 26.5cm, it sits comfortably beside a doorway or along a path where a deeper fitting would get in the way. The colour of the weave brings a cheerful note to brickwork, render or timber cladding, and the Graphite Brown arm and wall rose keep the metalwork quiet. It is dimmable with TRIAC control, so with a compatible dimmer you can turn it down for a gentle glow on a summer evening at the table outside.

It is made from stainless steel, aluminium and synthetic fibre: a Graphite Brown structure carrying a woven shade in Red (with Orange and Beige), the weave crossing in an open lattice. It runs on 230V and is a Class I fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician, and it needs nothing else to light. With an integrated LED there is no bulb to replace, so once it is in place the only decision left is which wall it brightens.
