The Mossa cushion is a 45x45cm square in pure cotton, worked with a raised front and a plain back. Across a natural, undyed ground runs a repeating pattern of horizontal lines: rows of small dotted stitching interspersed with clusters of black looped knots that stand proud of the cloth. The side view shows just how much the knots lift off the surface, so this is a cushion you notice by touch as much as by sight.
