The MORTA BL is a recessed downlight built around a round glass frame that drops flush into the ceiling for a neat, minimal finish. It holds a single MR16 lamp on a GU5.3 (Gx5.3) bicolour-pin base rated up to 10W, running on 12V (12 AC or 12 DC) low voltage. Buyers in the US will recognise the format as a recessed can light, and the round profile suits a clean ceiling line where the trim sits close to the plaster. The lamp itself is supplied separately, so the beam spread and brightness are set by whichever 12V MR16 you fit.

The fitting has an overall trim diameter of Ø90mm, so prepare a recessed ceiling cut-out slightly smaller than this so the trim seats against the surface.
