The Morbarne is a fabric pendant light: a tapered drum shade hung on a slim black cord from a round black steel ceiling canopy. The shade is 35cm across and the whole light is 110cm high overall, so it is worth planning the drop with your ceiling height and furniture in mind. It takes one E27 bulb up to a maximum of 60W, and the bulb is not included, which leaves you free to choose the brightness and colour of light that suits the room. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

Hung over a dining table, it gives a soft, shaded light at the centre of the room, and it suits a kitchen, living room, bedroom or hallway just as well.
