Description

The Mist is a 94x63cm arched wall mirror with a silver-finished polyurethane frame featuring beaded detailing along the inner and outer edges and a carved leaf crest at the apex. The frame moulding is approximately 4cm deep and projects 4cm from the wall once hung, giving the mirror a defined presence without dominating the wall plane.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, and above console tables or dressing tables, the arched top softens the lines of rectangular walls and door frames while the vertical proportion suits narrow alcoves and chimney breast walls. The 6.4kg weight requires two D-rings or French cleats fixed into the frame and screwed into wall plugs, rather than relying on picture hooks alone.

The silver finish on the polyurethane moulding is applied over a smooth basecoat, giving a consistent metallic tone across the beaded detailing and leaf motif. Polyurethane holds finer detail than timber or resin and resists chipping if knocked during cleaning or furniture rearrangement. The frame pairs with both cool-toned interiors (greys, blues, whites) and warmer neutrals where the silver acts as a metallic accent rather than a colour match.

The frame includes D-rings or keyhole slots on the reverse. At 6.4kg, the mirror requires two wall plugs and screws into masonry or studs, not picture hooks alone. For plasterboard walls without studs, use heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated for the weight.
