Mini Square 2 Light Outdoor Wall Light - Silver

The Mantra Mini Square is a 226mm square outdoor wall light built from a silver aluminium frame surrounding a recessed opal white diffuser. Two G9 bulb fittings sit behind the diffuser, which emits diffused light through the milky-white polycarbonate face. The aluminium body is IP44 rated, making it suitable for sheltered outdoor use on covered porches, garage entries and garden walls where direct rain exposure is minimal.

Designed for residential and light commercial installations, the fitting projects 125mm from the wall and weighs 540g when empty. The square frame measures 240mm tall, giving it a compact footprint that suits narrow wall sections between windows, garage door surrounds and pathway lighting where a larger fitting would overwhelm the space. The silver finish provides a neutral metallic tone that pairs with modern rendered walls, natural timber cladding, grey brickwork and concrete surfaces.

The recessed diffuser sits approximately 15-20mm behind the front edge of the aluminium frame, creating a shallow shadow line around the perimeter that gives the fitting depth when viewed from an angle. When lit, the opal diffuser softens the light output and prevents glare, turning the entire panel into a glowing square rather than exposing visible bulb points. The silver frame reflects some of the diffused light back onto adjacent wall surfaces, adding a subtle halo effect around the fitting at night.

The G9 fittings accept capsule bulbs sold separately. Most installations use warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2W-5W per fitting, giving a combined output of 4W-10W depending on the bulb choice. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer, allowing light levels to be adjusted for different times of evening.

What does the IP44 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP44 means the fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and water splashes from any direction. It is suitable for sheltered outdoor locations such as covered porches, garage entries and under eaves, but should not be installed where it will be directly exposed to heavy rain or standing water.

Does it come with bulbs?

No. The fitting takes 2 x G9 capsule bulbs sold separately. Most users install warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2W-5W per fitting for a combined output of 4W-10W.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming — bulb and dimmer compatibility determines whether dimming will work.

Can it be mounted horizontally or vertically?

The square form allows the fitting to be mounted in any orientation without affecting its appearance or function. The internal bulb positions remain the same regardless of which edge is at the top.
