The Mini Round is a 165mm diameter outdoor wall light built around a circular silver aluminium frame with a recessed opal white diffuser. Two G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the diffuser, producing diffused light that spreads evenly across the fixture face. The IP44 rating protects the bulbs and internals from water splashes and solid objects above 1mm, making the fitting suitable for covered exterior positions such as porch walls, balcony alcoves and terrace columns.

Designed for residential and commercial exteriors where subtle ambient lighting is needed rather than security-level brightness, the Mini Round works as wayfinding along pathways, as soft illumination beside entrance doors, or as paired fittings flanking a garage or garden room entrance. The 122mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting profile low while the 178mm height accommodates two standard G9 capsule bulbs in vertical alignment inside the diffuser.

The silver finish on the aluminium frame provides a neutral metallic tone that pairs with concrete render, natural stone, painted timber cladding and steel architectural details. The opal diffuser hides the bulb filaments or LED chips from direct view, preventing glare and creating a softer wash of light onto the wall surface below the fitting. What does IP44 mean for outdoor use?

IP44 protects the internals from water splashes from any direction and solid objects larger than 1mm. This makes the Mini Round suitable for covered exterior positions such as under eaves, porch canopies, balcony soffits and terrace overhangs. It is not rated for fully exposed positions where driving rain hits the fitting directly.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes two G9 capsule bulbs. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 2W-5W each and 2700K-3000K for warm-toned ambient light. Total wattage depends on bulb choice.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, if you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LEDs are dimmable, so check bulb specifications before purchasing if dimming is required.

How is it mounted?

The light mounts to exterior walls using screws into the wall surface, with the electrical cable fed through a rear entry point in the backplate. The 0.44kg weight is suitable for standard wall fixings on brick, render, timber or masonry.
