Description

The Meribel is a 300mm outdoor wall light with an integrated WiFi-enabled camera and intercom, built into a graphite powder-coated aluminium frame with frosted acrylic diffusers on three sides. The integrated LED delivers 530lm at a tunable colour temperature from warm 2700K to cool 6000K, controlled via touch dimmer on the fixture itself or through the WiFi app.

Designed for front doors, side entrances, garages and gates where both security monitoring and functional lighting are needed, the Meribel combines a camera with audio speaker and microphone into the lower housing. The camera lens sits below the light diffuser, providing a view of visitors approaching the door. The intercom function allows two-way communication through the app when someone is at the door, and the camera can be set to record motion events or stream live footage to a smartphone.

The graphite finish is a dark charcoal grey powder coat on aluminium, resistant to UV fade and corrosion in coastal and urban environments. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed walls where rain-driven spray is present. The frosted acrylic diffusers spread the 530lm output across a 100° beam angle, providing both downlight onto a doorstep and lateral spill across an entrance area. At 150mm wide and projecting 120mm from the wall, the fitting suits standard house brick walls without overwhelming narrow door surrounds.

The CCT tuning allows the light to be adjusted from warm 2700K for evening ambience to cool 6000K for higher-contrast security lighting at night. The touch dimmer on the fixture housing provides manual control when the WiFi connection is unavailable, and the app control adds scheduling, scene programming and integration with other smart home devices. The camera function requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network and connects via the manufacturer's app (iOS and Android compatible).
