The Meribel is a large outdoor wall lamp built around a graphite metal box frame with clear glass panels on three sides and a solid graphite back plate for wall mounting. A single E27 bulb holder sits inside the open box, visible through the glass, making the bulb choice part of the overall design. The 300mm height and 155mm projection give the fitting a substantial presence on external walls.

Designed for driveways, terraces, porches and larger exterior walls where a stronger light source is needed, the Meribel accepts any standard E27 bulb up to 60W (bulb sold separately). Pairing it with a clear filament LED or vintage-style Edison bulb creates a warm, decorative look; using a standard frosted bulb delivers functional light with less glare. The IP54 rating protects the internal components from dust ingress and water spray, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions under eaves or on open walls.

The graphite finish is a dark grey powder-coat on metal, close to charcoal or slate grey in tone, not solid black. This finish pairs well with both contemporary and traditional exteriors, complementing stone, brick, painted render and timber cladding. The clear glass panels allow the full output of the bulb to project outward and downward, providing functional illumination rather than diffused ambient light. At 2.2kg the fitting requires secure fixing into masonry or a solid substrate.
