The Mercury weatherproof extension cable provides a single 13A UK socket enclosed in an IP54-rated orange housing, connected to a 5m orange mains cable and supplied with an H-frame tidy for tangle-free storage. The enclosed socket design prevents dust ingress and splashing water from entering the outlet, making it suitable for temporary outdoor power in gardens, driveways, and construction sites.

Designed for garden equipment such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, pressure washers, and outdoor lighting, the 5m length extends reach from a standard indoor socket to the middle of a small to medium-sized garden without needing a second extension. The IP54 rating protects against solid objects over 1mm and water splashes from any direction, but the unit is not submersible and should not be left permanently outdoors in heavy rain or standing water.

The orange cable colour provides high visibility against grass, gravel and paving, reducing the risk of tripping or accidental cuts from garden machinery running over the cable. The 7.8mm cable diameter and 13A rating handle loads up to 3,120W on 230V mains. The H-frame tidy allows the cable to be rewound after use without kinks or tangles, keeping the cable organised in a garage or shed.
