Description

The Mercury F250mA is a 6 x 32mm quick blow fuse rated at 250mA and 250V, designed to interrupt fault current instantly when an overload occurs in sensitive circuits. The fuse element is held inside a glass tube with nickel-plated brass end caps, allowing visual inspection of the element before and after a fault event.

Quick blow fuses are specified where the protected circuit cannot tolerate even momentary overload — typically in audio equipment, microcontroller circuits, low-voltage power supplies and measurement instruments. The F250mA rating makes this fuse suitable for circuits drawing up to 250mA under normal operating conditions, where any current spike above that threshold should trigger immediate disconnection rather than a slow-blow delay.

The 6 x 32mm dimension is a standard IEC metric format compatible with panel-mount fuseholders, in-line fuseholders and PCB-mount clips used across consumer electronics, pro audio and light industrial control equipment.
