Description
The Meadow Embossed Ceramic Jug brings a country garden feel to the table and the shelf. Wild meadow flowers, seed heads and slender stems are pressed in relief across the body, with the raised detail catching a soft glaze and the recesses holding a darker tone that picks out every line. The wide handle and shaped pouring lip give it a proper farmhouse jug shape, useful for water, milk or a loose bunch of stems.
We offer it in three colourways: Stone, Duck Egg and Sage. The pale, chalky Stone suits a neutral kitchen or a pantry shelf, while the gentle Duck Egg and Sage add a quiet wash of colour to a dresser, windowsill or dining table. Each works as a flower jug, a utensil pot or simply a decorative piece on its own. At 21cm wide and 20.5cm tall, it sits comfortably as a centrepiece or alongside other pieces.
Made from ceramic with a reactive glaze, so the tone and surface vary a little from piece to piece as part of the character. The embossed pattern is moulded into the body rather than printed, so it will not wear away. Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and dry well. We suggest hand washing to protect the finish, and treating it as decorative rather than fully watertight for long periods.

Frequently Asked
Is the flower pattern printed or moulded?
It is embossed into the ceramic, so the meadow flowers and stems are raised in relief rather than printed on. This means the pattern will not fade or wear away with use.
What colourways does the jug come in?
There are three to choose from: a pale chalky Stone, a soft Duck Egg and a gentle Sage. Each shares the same shape and embossed design.
Can I use it to pour water or milk?
It has a shaped pouring lip and a sturdy handle, so it works for serving. As it has a reactive glaze we suggest treating it as a decorative jug and not leaving liquid standing in it for long periods.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a soft damp cloth and dry well. We recommend hand washing rather than the dishwasher to protect the glaze and embossed detail.
How big is the jug?
It measures 21cm wide, 14.5cm deep and 20.5cm tall, making it a good size for a table centrepiece, a flower display or holding kitchen utensils.
