Maryville 3 Light Chandelier - Washed Grey

The Maryville is a 3 light chandelier built around curved metal arms finished in washed grey, with draped strands of turned wood beads connecting each arm and falling from the central column. Three candle-style E14 fittings sit in floral-shaped bobeches at the end of each arm, spaced evenly around a 483mm diameter frame. The overall fitting height is 498mm before the chain drop.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Maryville provides ambient light through three bare bulbs (sold separately) while the wood bead draping adds decorative texture. The 1524mm adjustable chain allows the chandelier to be set between 594mm and 2160mm total drop, giving flexibility to position it 700-800mm above a dining table or 1800-2000mm above bedroom floor level depending on the room layout and ceiling height.

The washed grey finish on both the metal frame and the turned wood beads gives a weathered, aged appearance that pairs with French country, cottage and coastal interiors. Each wood bead is individually turned and threaded, so the draping has a handmade quality rather than a precision-machined uniformity. The floral bobeches at each candle position echo traditional French chandelier detailing while the wood bead element softens the overall look compared to all-metal equivalents.

What bulbs does it take?

The Maryville takes three E14 candle bulbs, up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a soft ambient glow that suits the French country aesthetic.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1524mm chain is adjustable on installation. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The maximum 2160mm drop suits double-height hallways or bedrooms where the chandelier hangs as a decorative feature rather than task lighting.

Can the wood beads be cleaned?

The wood beads can be dusted with a dry, soft cloth or feather duster. Avoid water or cleaning sprays as the wood is unsealed and moisture can darken the washed grey finish or cause the beads to swell.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. LED E14 candle bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most standard household dimmers. Non-dimmable LED bulbs may flicker or fail if paired with a dimmer switch.
