The Marreira is a long, low LED panel light for the ceiling, built on a black steel body with a row of staggered brown wood slats laid across its face. Four slim LED bars sit between the slats at different points along the length, so the light reads as a pattern of offset lines rather than a single plain panel. It measures 78cm long, 22cm wide and just 6cm high, which keeps it tucked close to the ceiling. The LEDs are integrated, so there are no bulbs to buy or change, and its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in rooms that stay dry.

Its length and slim profile suit a living room, a hallway or a bedroom where a pendant would hang too low, and we especially like it over a long dining table.
