Description

The Marin is a glass globe wall light: a single round globe hung from a T-shaped arm on a round wall plate, made of brass and glass. The globe comes in Clear or Opal glass. Clear glass lets the bulb show through, while Opal glass softens the light into an even glow across the whole globe. The metalwork comes in Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Natural Brass, Polished Brass or Satin Brass, so you can pick the finish that sits best with the taps, handles and other fittings in the room. It is 30cm tall and 15cm wide, and it projects 21cm from the wall, a compact size that suits a narrow stretch of wall.

Rated IP65, the Marin suits a bathroom as well as the drier rooms of the house. A pair either side of a bathroom mirror gives good light for the face, and one beside the bed makes a bedside wall light that leaves the table free. In a bedroom, dining room or living room it brings a soft globe of light to a wall, alongside a ceiling light or on its own in a quieter corner, and the Opal glass is the gentler choice where you want a low glow rather than a bulb on show.

Every Marin is made to order for you in Ireland, from brass and glass, in the finish and glass you choose. It is a mains fitting, to be wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W, and bulbs are sold separately. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. When you order, settle the finish and the glass together, and have an E27 bulb ready so the light is working the day it goes up. Our photographs show the Antique Brass finish.
