Description

We stock the Mangata as a sphere table lamp on a polished chrome frame. An ice-textured acrylic sphere sits between two chrome uprights, and a 7W integrated LED inside casts 3000K warm white light through the textured surface, giving around 250 lumens in a full 360 degree spread so the whole sphere glows rather than throwing light in one direction.

It suits a bedside table, a living room side table or a console, where you want soft ambient light rather than focused task lighting. The dimmable LED lets you set it from full brightness down to a low glow, so it works as a gentle reading companion or as a quiet background light in the evening. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The metal frame and horizontal base give the lamp a stable footing on a flat surface without needing to be weighted. The acrylic sphere is translucent rather than clear, so it softens and scatters the light while hiding the LED module inside. The polished chrome picks up the colours of the room around it, and the integrated LED runs on standard 220-240V mains at 50Hz.

Is the Mangata table lamp dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 7W LED dims on a compatible LED dimmer, so you can set it from full brightness down to a soft glow for the evening. The dimmer is sold separately.

What sort of light does it give?
