Description

The Mahi is an iron console table 120cm wide, 85cm tall and 35.5cm deep, built as a fine square-section frame carrying three flat tiers: the top and two shelves below it. The frame is finished in an antique brass that reads warm gold along the uprights and the edges and darkens across the flat panels. The uprights run unbroken from the floor to the top and nothing is boxed in, so it reads open from every side.

At 35.5cm deep it stands along a hallway wall without narrowing the walk past it, and the 120cm width takes a lamp at one end and a bowl at the other with room left between them. The two lower shelves stand 32cm apart, which takes a shallow basket or a stack of books. It will carry up to 25kg. In a living room it works as a sideboard against a long wall.

It is iron throughout, the frame and the three panels alike, under an antique brass finish. The surface is left smooth rather than hammered or distressed. The Mahi range runs to side tables, shelving units, a bench and wall-mounted shelves.

Frequently Asked

How deep is it?

How much will it hold?

25kg.

How far apart are the shelves?

The two lower shelves stand 32cm apart.

What is it made of?

Iron, under an antique brass finish.

How do I look after it?

Use coasters under glasses, because the finish can mark where it meets a hot drink or a spill. Blot anything spilled straight away with a dry cloth, and keep chemical cleaners off it.
