Description

These are replacement keys for ESP MAGfire fire isolation switches, specifically the MAGISORP fire isolation switch and the MAGAUXISORP auxiliary isolation switch. Supplied as a pair, the keys are stamped with code 827 and fit the barrel lock mechanism used across the MAGfire isolator range.

Fire isolation switches are required under UK fire safety regulations to allow mains power to a building's fire alarm system to be isolated for maintenance or testing without needing to access the main consumer unit. The key-operated lock prevents accidental or unauthorised switching. These spare keys allow building managers, facilities teams or alarm maintenance engineers to retain a working key when the original is lost or when multiple keyholders are needed across a site.

The keys are cut from steel with a black polymer head stamped with the key code. Each key weighs approximately 10g. The pair is supplied unpackaged and can be stored separately to provide a spare in case of loss or issued to a secondary keyholder without requiring a locksmith to cut duplicates.

Frequently Asked

Which ESP isolator switches do these keys fit?

These keys fit the MAGISORP fire isolation switch and the MAGAUXISORP auxiliary isolation switch from ESP's MAGfire range. Both switches use the same barrel lock and key code 827.

Can I have these keys cut at a locksmith?

The keys use a standard barrel lock profile and are stamped with code 827. A locksmith with access to barrel lock blanks may be able to cut duplicates from an existing key, but purchasing a factory-cut pair from the manufacturer ensures correct operation.

How many keys come in a pack?

The pack contains two keys, allowing one to be used as a working key and one to be retained as a spare or issued to a secondary keyholder.
