Description

The MAGfire BPS-5 is a 24V DC 5 amp regulated power supply housed in a white steel enclosure, designed to power fire alarm systems and associated equipment. The unit converts 230V AC mains to a stable 24V DC output at up to 5 amps continuous load, with internal regulation to maintain voltage stability under varying current draw.

Intended for commercial and residential fire alarm installations where a reliable, regulated DC supply is required to operate control panels, detectors, sounders and other 24V fire alarm components. The steel box mounts to a wall or in a riser cupboard, with cable entry points at the base and rear of the enclosure. The front panel includes LED indicators for mains power and fault status, allowing installers to verify supply status at a glance.

The enclosure measures 342 x 322 x 90mm and weighs 2.84kg, providing secure housing for the internal transformer, rectifier and regulation circuitry. The white powder-coated steel finish suits utility rooms, plant rooms and risers where appearance is functional rather than decorative. Ventilation slots on the enclosure sides allow heat dissipation during continuous operation, and the lockable front panel prevents unauthorised access to internal wiring.
