Description

The MAGfire BPS-1 is a 24V DC 1 Amp boxed power supply designed for fire alarm systems, providing regulated DC power to fire alarm control panels, sounders, beacons and auxiliary fire detection devices. The unit delivers a continuous 1A output at 24V DC from a 230V AC mains input, housed in a lockable steel enclosure measuring 342mm high, 322mm wide and 90mm deep.

Designed for permanent installation in commercial and residential buildings where fire alarm systems require a dedicated power source, the BPS-1 mounts to a wall or inside a service cupboard. The steel box provides physical protection for the internal transformer and circuitry, and the front panel includes LED indicators showing mains input status and DC output status. The lockable door prevents tampering with the internal wiring once the installation is commissioned.

The unit weighs 2.84kg net (3.07kg with packaging), giving it sufficient mass to remain stable when wall-mounted without additional bracing.
