Description

This pack of 25 weatherproof gutter hooks from LYYT provides fixing points for outdoor festive and decorative lighting along roof edges and guttering. Each hook is moulded from white UV-resistant plastic and slots over standard UK rainwater gutters without tools or permanent fixings.

Designed for icicle lights, string lights and festoon cable runs, the hooks clip onto the front lip of most plastic and metal gutters, positioning the light cable 20-30mm below the gutter line so the bulbs or LEDs hang clear of the roofline. The hooks remain in place under light winds and can be repositioned or removed after the festive season without damaging the gutter surface. Spacing hooks at 300-400mm intervals along a run provides stable support for typical icicle or string light cable weights.

Each hook measures approximately 40mm in length and includes a central curved channel that holds the cable run in position once clipped over the gutter. The weatherproof plastic construction withstands UK outdoor conditions from November through January without cracking or discolouring. The 25-pack quantity covers approximately 7-10m of continuous roofline depending on hook spacing and cable sag.

Can they be reused each year?

Yes. The UV-resistant plastic construction allows the hooks to be stored indoors after use and reinstalled in following seasons. Check each hook for cracks or stress damage before reuse.

Do they work with heavy lights?

The hooks are rated for typical domestic icicle lights and LED string lights. For heavier festoon lighting with Edison-style bulbs or long cable runs, reduce hook spacing to 250-300mm to distribute the load.
