LYYT ES Pendant Set - Antique Gold

The LYYT ES pendant set is a single E27 lamp holder on a 1.8m braided nylon cable, supplied with a matching 100mm antique gold ceiling rose and integrated terminal block. The lamp holder itself is plated aluminium with knurled detailing on the threaded sections, finished in a brushed antique gold that reads as a warm, aged brass tone under most lighting conditions.

Designed for open-bulb installation where the bulb becomes part of the decorative effect, this pendant pairs with vintage-style filament bulbs, large globe bulbs, or squirrel-cage designs. The 1.8m cable can be cut and reconnected at the ceiling rose to shorten the drop, allowing the pendant to be hung at 600-800mm above a dining table, kitchen worktop or bar surface depending on ceiling height. The lampshade ring at 42-45mm diameter accepts clip-on fabric shades or glass shades with a matching ring adapter if you want to add diffusion later.

The ceiling rose measures 100mm diameter and 25mm depth, fitting standard UK ceiling wiring with the integrated terminal block accessible behind the rose faceplate. The nylon braided cable conceals the three-core mains wiring and adds texture to the overall look. The set weighs 316g total, so the ceiling rose can be fixed to a standard plasterboard ceiling with appropriate fixings or directly to a wooden joist with wood screws. The E27 fitting accepts any standard Edison screw bulb up to 60W maximum.

Does this come with a bulb?

No. The pendant set includes the lamp holder, cable and ceiling rose only. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a decorative filament LED bulb in the 4-6W range for a warm ambient effect.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 1.8m cable can be cut and reconnected at the ceiling rose terminal block to shorten the drop. Once cut, the excess cable is removed rather than coiled inside the rose, so measure carefully before cutting.

What bulb types work best with this fitting?

The exposed E27 holder is designed for decorative bulbs where the bulb itself is visible. Vintage-style filament bulbs, large globe bulbs, and squirrel-cage designs all pair well with the antique gold finish. Standard opaque LED bulbs work but lose the decorative effect.

Can a lampshade be added?

Yes. The lamp holder has a threaded ring at 42-45mm diameter that accepts clip-on fabric shades or glass shades with a matching ring adapter. This allows the fitting to be converted from an open-bulb pendant to a shaded pendant without rewiring.
