Description

The LYYT Connectable 5 Way Belt Static is a weatherproof rubber power distribution cable that splits a single input into five separate outputs, allowing static string lights to be run in multiple directions from a central junction point. The 1.10m black rubber cable carries an IP44 rating, making it safe for permanent outdoor installation in UK gardens, patios, and event spaces.

Designed for extending LYYT static string light installations across larger areas, the belt removes the need for multiple mains connections when lighting needs to branch across different fence runs, pergola beams, or gazebo frames. Each of the five outputs accepts a standard LYYT static string light connector, and the belt itself connects to either a mains transformer output or an upstream string light's output socket. The rubber construction remains flexible in cold weather and resists UV degradation.

The IP44 rating protects against solid objects over 1mm and water splashing from any direction, making the belt suitable for exposed outdoor positions including roof eaves, garden borders, and open terraces. The black finish blends against dark fence panels, shed walls, and evergreen planting. The 1.10m length provides enough cable to position the junction point away from the power source or previous string, giving flexibility in routing light runs around outdoor structures.

Can this be left outdoors year-round?

Yes. The IP44 rating and weatherproof rubber construction allow the belt to remain installed outdoors permanently, including through winter. The rubber remains flexible in cold temperatures and resists UV degradation in direct sunlight.

Does it need to be connected to mains directly?

No. The belt can be connected to either a mains transformer output or the output socket of an existing LYYT static string light. This allows the belt to be positioned further along a light run rather than requiring its own dedicated mains connection.
