Description
The LYYT battery COB LED push light is a 68mm diameter disc housing a single COB (chip-on-board) LED emitting 6000K cool white light. Each unit runs on three AAA batteries (not included) and switches on and off via a press-anywhere touch mechanism on the front surface. An adhesive backing pad fixes the light to flat surfaces without drilling or wiring.
Designed for enclosed spaces requiring temporary or supplementary light without mains supply, the LYYT suits wardrobes, kitchen cupboards, pantries, under-stairs storage, deep drawers, attic spaces and narrow hallways. The 6000K colour temperature produces crisp cool white output similar to daylight fluorescent, which aids task visibility when locating stored items. The lights work independently, so you can space them across separate shelves or mount them in different cupboards.
Each light measures 68mm in diameter and 18mm in depth, with a total weight of 25g including the battery compartment. The COB LED is rated for up to 100,000 hours of theoretical operation, though actual battery life depends on usage frequency and the quality of AAA cells used. The adhesive pad provides semi-permanent fixing — it can be removed and repositioned, though adhesive strength reduces after multiple applications.

Frequently Asked
Are batteries included?
No. Each light requires three AAA batteries which are sold separately. Standard alkaline AAA cells work, though rechargeable NiMH batteries can also be used if preferred.
How bright are the lights?
The specification does not list a lumen rating, but COB LED push lights of this size typically produce 50-80 lumens, which is adequate for cupboard, wardrobe and drawer visibility at close range rather than room lighting.
Can the adhesive pad be repositioned?
Yes, to a limited extent. The adhesive pad can be peeled off and reapplied once or twice, though adhesive strength diminishes with each repositioning. For permanent fixing, a small screw through the centre hole (if present) provides more secure mounting.
What is the battery life?
Battery life depends on usage frequency. With typical cupboard use (a few minutes per day), a set of alkaline AAA batteries can last several months. Continuous use will drain batteries within a few hours.
