Description

These LYYT cluster lights give you 960 tiny LEDs packed along a 14m run, with a 5m power cable to reach your nearest socket. The bulbs are set closely together at 10mm spacing, so you get a dense scatter of light rather than a sparse line. They come in cool white and cool blue, which works well for the festive season, parties and everyday evenings in the garden.

The power adapter has an 8-function memory controller. A single button steps you through Combo, Waves, Sequential, Slow Glow, Chase Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle Flash and Steady ON, and the memory holds your last chosen setting. There is also an energy-saving timer built in. Hold down the adapter button to switch it on and the lights run for 8 hours, then stay off for 16 hours before starting again, so they come on at the same time each day without you touching them.

The cable is dark green PVC at 0.15mm2, which keeps the wiring low-key against foliage and fences. Rated IP44, these lights are suitable for indoor use or sheltered outdoor spots such as a covered porch, balcony or under eaves. The total length including the power lead is 19m. Power comes from a 31V 9W transformer (US: adapter). We would keep the connections away from standing water and direct rain given the IP44 rating.
