Description

The LYYT 90 LED string lights run 90 concave RGBA LEDs across a 9m lit length on heavy-duty UV-resistant black rubber cable, with an integrated controller offering 8 selectable modes including waves, chasing, twinkle and steady-on. The IP44 rating allows outdoor use year-round, and the UV-resistant cable construction prevents degradation from sunlight exposure.

Designed for gardens, patios, marquees, retail frontages and outdoor events, the lights can be connected end-to-end up to 10 sets from a single mains plug, giving a maximum run of 90m lit length without additional extension cables. The controller sits on a 0.5m link between the 1.5m power lead and the first LED, allowing it to be positioned conveniently near a switch or out of sight behind planting. At 7W per set, ten connected sets draw 70W total.

The RGBA colour mix cycles red, green, blue and amber LEDs spaced at 100mm intervals along the cable. Each LED sits in a concave housing that projects the light outward rather than back toward the cable, giving brighter visibility from a distance. The 1.6kg weight per set provides enough mass to resist light winds without sagging, and the rubber cable remains flexible in cold weather down to typical UK winter temperatures.

The eight controller modes include static (all LEDs on), slow fade, fast fade, wave effect (colour travelling along the cable), chasing (single colour moving through the string), twinkle (random flashing), sequential (colours lighting in order) and combination (rotating through several effects). Mode selection is by a single button on the inline controller box.
