Description

The LYYT 90° arc corner profile is a 1m aluminium extrusion designed to house LED tape at right-angled corners, with a curved frosted diffuser that spreads light across both wall surfaces meeting at the corner. The profile mounts directly to the corner where two walls meet at 90°, with the 16 x 16mm external section sitting flush against both surfaces. The internal channel measures 10 x 8mm and accepts LED tape strips up to 10mm wide.

Designed for cabinet lighting, stair tread edges, worktop perimeters and architectural feature lighting, the profile provides thermal management for the LED tape while the arc diffuser hides the individual LED points and creates a continuous light band. The frosted diffuser clips into the aluminium channel and can be removed for tape installation or replacement without dismounting the profile. Mounting accessories are included in the pack.

The aluminium construction dissipates heat from the LED tape, extending bulb life and preventing thermal dimming over extended use. The 22mm visible diffuser width provides enough light spread to wash both wall surfaces at the corner without creating a harsh line. The 1m length can be cut to size on site using a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing the profile to be fitted to exact corner dimensions without waste.

What width LED tape does it accept?

The internal channel measures 10 x 8mm, so the profile accepts LED tape strips up to 10mm wide. Most standard 12V and 24V single-colour and RGB LED tapes fall within this width. Tape is sold separately.

Can the profile be cut to length?

Yes. The 1m aluminium extrusion can be cut to exact length using a hacksaw or mitre saw. Cut the diffuser to the same length using a craft knife or fine-toothed saw.

Is the diffuser removable?

The frosted diffuser clips into the aluminium channel and can be removed by hand for tape installation, maintenance or replacement without needing to unmount the profile from the wall.

What mounting accessories are included?
