Description

This LYYT reel gives you 45 metres of string lights fitted with 1500 LEDs, spaced 3cm apart along the run. It comes in amber, so you get a warm glow that suits gardens, patios and indoor spaces alike. The lights are IP44 rated, which means they cope with splashes and are fine for sheltered outdoor use as well as indoors. String lights like these are sometimes called fairy lights, and the long single run means you can cover a fence, pergola or tree without joining several sets together.

You control everything with the supplied remote. There are 8 lighting modes to pick from: Combination, Waves, Sequential, Slo Glo, Chasing Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle Flash and Steady On. Four brightness levels let you dim the reel down for a quiet evening or turn it up when you want more light. The remote also adjusts speed and switches the modes, so you can set the look you want from where you are sitting.

A built-in timer runs the lights for 6 hours on and 18 hours off, so once you set it going the reel repeats the same cycle each day without you needing to switch it on again. The reel includes a 5m power lead, giving you room to reach a socket that sits back from where the lights hang. The power adaptor is IP20 rated at 31V and 12W, so keep it dry and indoors or under cover while the lights themselves handle the outdoor conditions.
