Description

These LYYT mounting clips are clear plastic fixings designed to secure both short and tall crown aluminium LED profiles to walls, ceilings and cabinet undersides. Each pack contains 10 individual clips that slot into the rear channel of the crown profile and fix to the mounting surface with screws (not included), allowing the profile to be clipped in and out without removing the fixings.

The clips suit installations where the LED profile needs to be removable for maintenance, redecorating or access to the wiring behind. They work across both the short crown profile (typically 15-20mm height) and the tall crown profile (typically 25-30mm height) in the LYYT range, so a single pack of clips can be used across multiple profile types in the same project. Spacing clips at 300-400mm intervals along the profile length provides adequate support for most residential and commercial applications.

The clear polycarbonate material makes the clips unobtrusive once the profile is clipped into place, particularly when used with white or silver anodised aluminium profiles. Each clip has two screw holes for fixing to the mounting surface, and the clip body has enough flex to accommodate minor surface irregularities without cracking. The design allows the profile to be installed tight to the surface or with a small standoff gap depending on how far the clip is driven into the surface.

Are screws included?

No. The clips require two screws per clip to fix to the mounting surface. Use screws appropriate to the surface material (wood screws for timber, self-tapping screws for metal, wall plugs and screws for plaster or masonry).

Can the profile be removed once clipped in?

Yes. The clips remain fixed to the surface and the profile clips in and out of the fixings, allowing removal for maintenance or redecorating without removing the clips themselves.
