Description

The Lyria is a 20cm spherical wall light built from a white metal backplate and a single blown glass globe diffuser. The globe is acid-etched on the interior to scatter light evenly in all directions, creating a soft ambient glow rather than a focused beam. A single E27 bulb sits inside the globe, and the light output is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and bulb.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (within the IP20 limitations), and living spaces where ambient or mood lighting is needed, the Lyria works well in pairs flanking doorways or mirrors, or as a single fitting beside a bed or sofa. The 20cm sphere projects approximately 100mm from the wall when mounted, giving enough standoff to cast light in a wide arc without the fitting appearing to float too far from the surface.

The blown glass construction gives each globe slight tonal and thickness variation, which affects how the acid-etched surface diffuses light when the bulb is on. The white metal backplate is powder-coated and designed to sit flush against plasterboard or masonry walls on a standard UK back box. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only — not suitable for zones 1 or 2 in bathrooms or any outdoor exposure.
