Description
The Lyria is a 2 light ceiling and wall light built around a vertical brushed gold backplate housing two frosted acrylic spheres, each powered by an integrated 3W 3000K LED. The spheres protrude from the backplate, casting light forward into the room while the backplate reflects light onto the wall or ceiling behind, creating both ambient and accent lighting in a single fitting.
Designed for installation on both vertical walls and ceilings, the Lyria suits hallways, bedroom feature walls, bathroom mirrors (IP20 rated, suitable for zones outside splash areas), and as accent lighting flanking a bed headboard or alongside a mirror. The 183mm height and 60mm projection keep the fitting compact enough for narrow corridors while the dual spheres provide sufficient light output for a 2-3m hallway section or a bedside reading position.
The brushed gold finish on the metal backplate softens reflections and pairs with warm-toned interiors, brass taps and door furniture, and traditional or contemporary schemes where warm metallics are present. The frosted acrylic spheres diffuse the LED point source completely, preventing glare when the fitting is installed at eye level on a wall. The integrated driver sits behind the backplate, so no external transformer or control gear is visible once fitted.

Frequently Asked
Can this be fitted in a bathroom?
The IP20 rating means the Lyria is suitable for bathroom zones outside direct splash areas, typically zone 3 (more than 600mm from a bath or shower). It is not suitable for zones 0, 1 or 2 where higher IP ratings are required.
Is it dimmable?
No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The light operates at full output when switched on.
What's the total light output?
Each sphere houses a 3W LED at 3000K, giving a combined 6W output across the two spheres. This suits accent and ambient lighting rather than primary task lighting.
Can it be installed vertically or horizontally?
The fitting can be mounted on a wall (vertical orientation) or a ceiling (horizontal orientation). The backplate design works in both positions, with the spheres protruding forward from the mounting surface.
