Description

The Luzon is a console table, 120cm wide, 40cm deep and 85cm tall, built from square-section bar in a brass finish. The top is a single sheet of clear glass set flush inside the frame. Below it the lower level holds two trays with woven cane bottoms, a long rectangular one and a smaller square one, and both lift out. A second frame runs round the legs just above the floor.

At 120cm long and only 40cm deep the table takes little out of a hallway or the wall behind a sofa. Because the top is glass, whatever sits in the trays below stays in view rather than being shut away, which is what the lower level is for. Against a hallway wall it takes a lamp at one end, with books and small objects in the trays underneath.

The frame is iron under a brass finish and the trays are mango wood with cane panels. Each tray lifts straight out, so the lower level can be cleared or carried in one go. Luzon is also made as a coffee table and as a side table, both on the same frame.

Frequently Asked

What is the top made from?

A single sheet of clear glass, set into the frame.

Do the trays come out?

Yes. The lower level is two separate trays, a long rectangular one and a smaller square one, and both lift out.

What are the overall dimensions?

120cm wide, 40cm deep and 85cm tall.

Is there a matching coffee table?

Yes. Luzon is also made as a coffee table and as a side table.

How do I look after it?

Wash the glass in warm soapy water or use a glass cleaner, and wipe the metal with a damp cloth. Keep anything abrasive and any harsh chemicals off both, then dry and polish with a soft cloth. Do not put very hot or very cold items straight onto the glass, and do not strike it with anything hard or pointed.
