Description

The Luxeon magnetic recessed L-connector joins two sections of Ideal Lux magnetic track lighting at a 90-degree angle, allowing track runs to turn corners without visible external connectors. An integrated on-off switch sits on the top surface of the connector, controlling the power feed to the track section downstream of the switch. The connector fits flush into the ceiling recess alongside the track sections.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where track lighting needs to follow wall lines, the L-connector suits kitchens, retail displays, gallery walls and corridor runs. The on-off switch lets a single track circuit be divided into zones that can be controlled separately without adding wall switches or smart controls. The left-hand orientation determines which track leg receives switched power and which receives constant feed.

The black thermoplastic housing measures 100mm along each leg of the L-shape and sits level with the track profile when installed. The connector is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only and carries a 5-year warranty. It accepts only Ideal Lux magnetic track sections and is not compatible with standard three-circuit track systems.

Frequently Asked

What track system is this compatible with?

This connector is designed exclusively for Ideal Lux magnetic recessed track systems. It will not fit standard three-circuit track or surface-mounted magnetic track from other brands.

What does the on-off switch control?

The switch controls power to the track section downstream of the connector. This allows you to switch off a section of track lighting without affecting the upstream section, creating two independently controlled zones on a single circuit.

What does 'left' orientation mean?

The left-hand orientation determines which leg of the L receives switched power. When looking down at the connector from above with the switch at the top, the left leg receives the switched feed and the bottom leg receives constant power.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means this connector is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, kitchens with steam exposure, or any other environment where moisture is present.
