Description

The Luxeon Magnetic Recessed L-Connector is a 90-degree track joiner for Ideal Lux magnetic track lighting systems, allowing recessed track runs to turn left at corners. The connector includes an integrated on-off switch that isolates the power supply to the track section beyond the junction, letting you control lighting zones independently without needing additional switching infrastructure.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where track lighting follows room geometry around corners or alcoves, the L-connector sits flush with the ceiling line when paired with recessed magnetic track channel. Each arm of the L measures 100mm from the corner apex to the connection point, giving enough clearance for most ceiling joists and structural elements while maintaining a compact profile. The white thermoplastic housing matches standard white ceiling finishes and pairs with the Luxeon white track range.

The magnetic connection method means luminaires can be repositioned along the track without tools — they clip onto the magnetic rail and draw power through embedded contacts. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments (living rooms, bedrooms, galleries, retail spaces) and the connector cannot be used in bathrooms, outdoor canopies, or damp locations. Installation requires cutting the recessed track channel to length, fitting the connector into the ceiling void, and wiring through the on-off switch terminals.
